Programme
ATLAS: The Publication Party
06.09. 21:00, Festival Centre | Free entry
A small delegation of ATLAS will come to Riga for the official presentation of the publication AND will make this into a small party. They need your help! Together you will obey ‘The Rules for a Party’.
VIERNULVIER’s CITY RESIDENCY PROGRAM supports artists, collectives, and partner organizations in the city of Ghent (Belgium). Human interaction, relationality, and co-creation are the most important artistic strategies. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the program, VIERNULVIER made a publication. The publication consists of a cartopological map and a field guide. The map is a visualization of the past ten years in a subjective, poetic way. The field guide contains reflection texts, some images of the artistic practices, and DIYs (do it yourself) & DITs (do it together) made by artists and collaborators.
About artists
ATLAS is a temporary artistic and social laboratory that consists of an intergenerational and interdisciplinary community of students, artists, critical thinkers, and citizens based in Ghent. Community-making and stimulating reciprocal care within the artistic ecosystem is the main core of the initiative.
